One of the first things to learn about Kicksite, is how to navigate and utilize the system. Part of understanding Kicksite is to know what the active links look like, what the different Icons mean, and where to go to change settings.

The first thing to do in Kicksite is to set studio specific information. This is found by going to the Settings Menu and click on School Info & Logo at the very bottom.

The Settings menu is where other areas of interest will be found and they are listed on the right side of the screen as shown in Figure 1. Features On/Off is a place in Kicksite that allows for customization of features to be seen or utilized. For example, Kicksite allows for integration with social media such as Facebook and Twitter. This setting would be turned on to integrate social media accounts and turned off if it is not needed. See Figure 2 for all the options available in the Features On/Off screen.

Kicksite is highly customizable to create the working environment that a studio needs. Task Categories is another example as seen in Figure 3. An administrator can create, Delete, or Rename Tasks with one click. Tasks are an important piece of notification for employees about Student needs or actions regarding a student. Please be sure to check out all the options in Settings.
Figure 3: Task Categories and functionality options
There is built-in functionality throughout Kicksite. This will include customizable search dates, category checkboxes, sorting, and active links. In the Attendances screen, you will notice there are active links to the right of the title Attendances. These links give you added functionality specific to Attendances. On the right side of the screen, there is a green action button to Add new attendance. Below that button, there is a search capability for all attendances. This includes the ability to search by Preset time ranges or Custom time ranges. Below the dates, you can further the search by selecting Programs and then specific Ranks.

Also note that in the Programs/Ranks section, Kicksite provides added usability by providing the Check All | Uncheck All option. This allows you to quickly check or uncheck all ranks for checking attendance. Look for this functionality throughout Kicksite.
On the Dashboard, there are a few items to point out. First, there are a couple of different Icons to point out. There is an Envelope that tells you how many emails or communications have been sent. The money is a quick link to record a payment. The Credit Card icon is a link to take payment or run a transaction for a credit card or vault item. This will be covered in greater detail in the Finance and Billing Guide.
