Using the Tables
Each student name, shown in blue, is a link that accesses the student information. The reddish pink shading in a table entry indicates that a student’s membership is expired or missing membership.
If at any time, the student data is needed for external use, it can be exported to a file by clicking on Export to Excel. The file can then be saved to the local computer. Each section, Name, Last Class, Days Absent, Last Comment, and Notifications (the email icon) can be alphabetically or numerically sorted by clicking on the menu item.
Figure 1: Absent Students
On the Kicksite home page, next to the Dashboard, is Recent Activity as well as a snapshot of the health of the studio. Recent Activity allows employees and administrators go see at a glance new activity with students and prospects. Each action represented in the Recent Activity will have a different color. This makes it easy to identify the activity within Kicksite and allows the administrator or employee to quickly identify any action necessary for the student or prospect. See Figure 2 for a visual example of these different categories in Recent Activity. Any activity recorded on the current date will be indicated with TODAY next to the entry.
Figure 2: Recent Activity & Vitals
Kicksite strives to provide an intuitive environment aimed at streamlining efforts to managing a studio. Part of this effort is the monthly Vitals on the Dashboard as seen in Figure 2. At a glance, the number of new students, lost students, active students, and growth percentage are available for quick interpretation of the health of the martial arts studio. For further information, click on View Details and detailed Reports will be available.
