On the Attendance Log page, the main section in the middle shows all the attendances tracked for that day. See Figure 1.
Figure 1: Student Attendances in Kicksite
If a student came to class, but got there late or forgot to check in, an attendance can be added later. Click the green Add New Attendance button shown in Figure 1, then choose the quantity of attendances, the student name, the program, and the time can easily be added if needed. Make sure to click the Add Attendance button after the selection is made. See Figure 2.
Figure 2: Add New Attendance
There is the capability to search attendances. On the right-hand side, select the time range to search. The default selection is Preset this can be a preset that Kicksite has created or a customized amount of time. To see attendances per student, click the Group by student checkbox. This gives you a result like the image in Figure 3. This information can be exported to Excel by clicking the Export to Excel link on the right side of the page. The students that are highlighted in pink are students with expired memberships.

The Mass Check-In page is a great resource for the studio if the students do not log in themselves. The Mass Check-In page, shown in Figure 4, makes it easy for the instructors to check students in as they walk through the door. A specific program can be pulled up on the right by selecting the Program with a checkmark and then click the Get Students button. The students will populate on the right. As students arrive, click the Check in (1) button that is shown next to the student’s Program and Belt graphic. It will then gray out like is shown on the first couple of students in Figure 4 when the student is successfully checked-in. Multiple programs can be shown at the same time. The check-in screen can also be filtered by Belt color.

The Student Check-in Screen looks just like the screen when the admin logs in, except it is for the students. They use their user ID number, select their program, and log in.

If the Attendance Awards checkbox is checked, Kicksite will calculate the number of attendances for each student and give different medals. The admin needs to set the number of attendances required for each medal in each program. If there are no medals available for that program, then leave it blank. See Figure 6. An email will be sent to that student letting them know which medal they have won. This is a great motivator to keep attendances high.

Attendance Limits refers to how many programs per day a student can log in for class. This can be turned off and on with a checkbox. If the box is unchecked, the default is a student can log in for each of their programs once daily. In Figure 7 below, the attendance limits are turned on and each student can log into each of their programs twice daily.
Figure 7: Attendance Limits
Attendance Minimums refers to the number of classes a student needs to be present at so they are not considered absent. This is set up per program and can be on a weekly or monthly basis. See Figure 8.
