You can start adding student payment information a couple of different ways: Either create a Vault or create a new recurring billing which will auto-add a vault. A vault is a secure payment method that is kept on file for the student. Because Kickiste is a cloud-based system, we will never keep complete financial information on file. You will only be able to view the last 4 digits of the card or account number associated with the vault.
Create a Vault
In order to create a new vault item, you'll want to visit the vaults section of the billing module of your Kicksite. You'll select New Vault Item as shown in Figure 1. From this page, you'll have the ability to enter in the student or family name and then add all of the credit/debit card information or checking account information for the student.

This financial information can be used for one-time transactions and also for recurring billings for your students. Make sure to include all information. If you're adding a credit/debit card, make sure to enter the CVV code (What is the CVV?).
Add Payment Information to Recurring Billing
If you'd like to know more about recurring billing you can visit our Billing Overview article and head to the section titled "Recurring Billings". After you've created the recurring billing for the student, whichever payment information you have entered will be saved as a vault item for that student.
